Performing ping scan for the network 192.168.8.1/24, listing machines that respond to ping.

Command: nmap  -sP 192.168.8.1/24 

Nmap Ping Sweep.

Now Scanning for operating system details of target host 192.168.8.104
We can scan operating system details for all host using nmap -O 192.168.8.*

Command: nmap -O 192.168.8.104
